Childreach International has been working in Ghana since 2008 on a Teaching Assistant Program in the Savelugu/Nanton District previously in partnership with Community Centre for Sustainable Development (CCSD). As we began to expand the number of projects, CCSD and Childreach International decided to merge to create Childreach International Ghana, creating a base for West African Projects. The office opened in June 2009, with its own board of Trustees who oversee decisions on projects and funding, and  office staff who manage relationships and building capacity of our partners.
